Urology Department Diagnosis and Treatment Services

In our hospital's Urology department, with its up-to-date medical equipment and experienced team, high-quality and reliable examination, testing, medical, and surgical treatment services are provided. Additionally, diagnosis and treatment services are available for diseases related to the Kidney, Ureter, Bladder, Testis, Prostate, Urethra, Scrotum, Penis, Male Infertility, and Erectile Dysfunction, as well as pediatric urology diseases, circumcision, and diseases of the foreskin. In urology diagnostic services, Computerized Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound (Urinary Ultrasound, Doppler Ultrasound), laboratory tests, PSA tests, and Cystoscopy play an important role in the diagnostic and treatment process.

Surgical Procedures Applied in Our Department

  • Kidney Diseases: Kidney stones, kidney tumors, kidney outlet obstructions, kidney cysts, non-functional (non-working) kidney diseases are treated with rigid (hard) and flexible ureterorenoscopy (URS) and RIRS (closed stone fragmentation inside the kidney), both open and endoscopic surgical procedures.
  • Ureter Diseases: Ureter stones, ureteral strictures, pregnancy-related hydronephrosis, ureteral tumors, and vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) are treated with open and endoscopic surgical procedures.
  • Bladder Diseases: Bladder stones, bladder tumors, urinary incontinence, and bedwetting in children (nighttime urinary incontinence) are treated with open and endoscopic surgical procedures.
  • Prostate Diseases: Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), prostate cancer, and chronic prostatitis are treated with open and endoscopic methods such as TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate), unipolar and bipolar plasmakinetic prostate surgeries.
  • Testis and Scrotum Diseases: Testicular enlargement, testicular torsion, varicocele (treated with microsurgery), male infertility, hydrocele, epididymal cyst, reproductive duct obstructions, undescended testes treatments and surgical interventions are applied.
  • Penis and Urethra Diseases: Erectile dysfunction, Peyronie's disease (penile curvature), premature ejaculation, urethral strictures, hypospadias (opening of the urinary canal below), genital wart treatment, PRP therapy, penile prosthesis implantation, and surgical interventions are applied.
  • Circumcision: Performed under general and local anesthesia.
